The possibility and success of implant installation depend on the bone condition, the bone can be atrophied as the result of inflammatory processes and the long absence of the teeth. In an complicated situations the osteoplastic surgery is carried out, which requires exact diagnose and treatment plan. For such kind of situations we are using computed tomography (CBCT), which allow:

• to define the thickness and height of the bone, distance to inferior alveolar  nerve and maxillary sinuses
• to choose the size and type of the implant
• to define the method of the surgery
• to minimize the risks and increase   the success rate.

Depending on the type of bone tissue defect that needs to be restored, there are two fundamental techniques that we actively use in our practice.
